Nikhil’s father who deserts him when faced with social disgrace.

Navin’s father had set up an antique shop in Goa. He was originally from the north of India. Navin too is passionate about sports, but he had to give it all up to join his father’s business. He met Anita Rosario at a young age, and married her and settled down in Goa.

In Nikhil he tries to fulfill his unfulfilled dream of becoming a sports man. He personally trained Nikhil and was extremely proud of his son’s achievements.

When Nikhil is arrested he feels let down and leaves Goa.
